Sylthus, Ignispex of Bones
Sanctum
At dusk, burn the end of a bone, follow the smoke, and you will find him.
He resides in a large tent, the ribcage of a large beast. Stretched across the surface, a large canvas littered with all manner of stitched symbols.
Countenance
Large hunched mass of clattering bones. Three eye sockets lie within his malformed skull. His jaw hangs wide open bearing splintered teeth beneath two curved tusks. A chimera of corpses, when he scries, wings splay open across his back. Though cloaked, many clawed feet can be seen scuttling about beneath his robes.
Stricture
Kindling proves important as Sylthus’ prophecies differ with each offering. If the supplicant brings the bones of a beast or creature they themselves killed, they will receive increased specificity into the truth. Found bones offer truth into the past of the creature, perhaps showing the means of their demise. The larger bones burn slow, lengthening his prophecy, while smaller ones offer only a glimpse. Bones taken from the living offer the strongest of prophecies, though not many dare to offer such a tithe.
