So few are known to possess the learning needed to become a wizard. Thus they remain a rare sort.
Cursed Bloodlines. Feeding off the souls, ancestors, and memories of others. Sorcery pierces the veil to the world of the unseen.
Some who study well, find connection to the cosmos, and laws of reality. Though their power is drawn from within, their ability can be compounded by celestial movement.
Some gods gift their penitent, zealots, or will-doers with some of their own power. Oft these blessings are conditional, and a breaking of a vow can mean more than just the revocation of their gifts.
Those who study druidcraft draw their power from the very essence of the natural world and the elements.
In harmonic opposition to druidic powers, Hematurgists gain their power parasitically from the living world. Blood, and Life essence fuels their practice.
Necromancy falls under this order.
Where experimentation and science meet, alchemists channel their power through substances, objects and elements. Combining their creations, while dangerous, magnifies their power.
Invention/artificers fall under this order
Where benediction draws its power from living and present deities, Anatheurgy draws its power from the dead and exiled gods. Its dark nature has left it mysterious and discouraged by many.
