12 Major Venerants

Though spirefolk worship the gods of differing dominions, most in the realm are familiar with the 12 major gods and their dominions. These 12 are often understood to have a form as described below, though some in other regions claim to witness differences in appearance and demeanor. 

Though some claim to have personal encounters with these gods, they remain beyond the realm and don’t directly interfere with the ongoings of the kingdom.

Touron: Conduit of War

Body of a bull, chest of a man, Head of a human with bull horns

Ithriel: Conduit of Knowledge

Nameless owl of wisdom, transfers all knowledge from past conduits upon the heir. 

Great horned owl shape, 5 feet tall, glowing/iridescent blue eyes, silver 

Muvuea: Conduit of Artistry

Ever changing form

Liatris: Conduit of Fire

When in singular form, a 3 headed dragon. 

Surtarus: destructive aspect, Dragon-blood female

Moltor: Forge aspect/creation, Lava rock dwarven female

Emberoa: Warmth, cooking. Human female with fire hair. 

Insigna: Conduit of Justice

Statue fully covered head to toe in marbled robes

On their shoulder, The Yoke of Justice

In one side, a shackles, and the other, a key. 

Nul: Conduit of Shadows

No physical form, just shadow

Voice like a thousand whispers in your mind, no matter the distance

Secrets, lies, trickery

Knows all that shouldn’t be known

Accompanied by a murder of crows, that can also manifest in other forms (ie drawings, shadows, clouds, etc.)

Serathis: Conduit of Passion

Appears in the form that is the most convenient.

Thelga: Conduit of  Life

Dryad female 

Life essence is connected to a tree in the capital (or a tree in each village) , planted as sapling, and loses power when the tree dies, until a new one blooms.

Not an official venerant, but culturally people look up to him the same.
